Another Summer Memory

I'm still missing summer, can you tell?  Don't get me wrong, I love my teaching job, and I have a great new batch of 4th graders!  It's going to be a fantastic school year with this group!  In summer, though, I have more time to focus on family, and have little adventures!!

 Shamu's show is always a highlight!

Penguin love!
Seeing the penguins so up close was awesome!  Violet has loved penguins since she was a little baby!
 
The sea lions were crazy when you buy the fish to feed them!  And birds swooped down to try and steal it right out of the kids' hands!!!
 

 
This guy below was mad-dogging me!  Probably because I've eaten so many of his cousins!  It's hard to tell on camera, but he was HUGE!!!!
 
 
 
 
We had a great time, I would recommend Sea World to families any time!

    Ohhhh wow. It still feels full swing summer here in Bakersfield... I love the Sea World photos (when I first learned there was more than one Shamu I was horrified!)

    And penguins - oh, how we love penguins around here.
